The Croatian Canadian Internment Project (CCIP) is a multi-year undertaking that will document, commemorate and educate our fellow Canadians and Croats around the world about the injustice done to the pioneers of our community. Research is ongoing and will develop a body of resource materials to be used for a variety of project outputs, the first of which will be a publication to be placed in libraries across Canada and made available to the public for purchase. As such, the CCIP is appealing to individuals, businesses, organizations, institutions and friends of the Croatian community in a nation-wide fundraising campaign for financial assistance contributions towards the realization of project goals. All donations towards the Project are eligible for a tax receipt, as permitted under CRA guidelines, from the Croatian-Canadian Library and Cultural Society, which is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization. Funding can be directed towards a particular phase of the publication or make a general donation to the project.
